Parque Estadual SÍTIO FUNDÃO

O Crato, município no Sul do Ceará, abriga este espaço protegido de 92,52 ha, criado em 2008 pelo Decreto Estadual nº 29.307/2008. O Parque é natureza, ciência, cultura e história. Integra o Geossítio Batateira, um dos classificados pelas demarcações geológicas do Geopark Araripe, além de possuir edificações originais do passado, como memória e testemunho. A flora nativa contém os biomas Caatinga, Cerrado e Mata Atlântica, preciosidades em preservação e acessíveis ao público. No Parque Estadual do Sítio do Fundão acontecem atividades de educação e interpretação ambiental e pesquisa científica. O espaço é aberto também para a recreação, com regras em acordo com a gestão e regulamento da Unidade.

Fudão Site State Park

Crato, a municipality in the south of Ceará, hosts this protected area of 92.52 hectares, created in 2008 by State Decree No. 29,307/2008. The Park is nature, science, culture, and history. It is part of the Batateira Geosite, one of those classified by the geological markings of the Araripe Geopark, in addition to having original buildings from the past, as a memory and testimony. The native flora contains the Caatinga, Cerrado, and Atlantic Forest biomes, precious in preservation and accessible to the public. In the Fundão State Park, activities of education and interpretation occur, allowing visitors to engage with the natural environment and learn about its cultural and historical significance.
